Heavy Use Area

Animals are confined to these areas during winter saturated conditions to save pasture forage. Another use is to improve frequently travelled paths or congregation areas to minimize soil erosion.

   

How it works

This practice stabilizes areas frequently used by people, vehicles or animals with improved footing using geotextile fabric and compacted rock.
