This is the local agriculture water quality plan developed under Senate Bill 1010 that identifies strategies to reduce water pollution through education, suggested land treatments, management activities and monitoring. This document helps the District prioritize its efforts so it can successfully address the needs of both the state and local governments.
The Marion Soil and Water Conservation District Business Plan serves as a broad outline for guiding the District's directors, employees, and partners in response to natural resource concerns, internal and external practices, and other factors that influence courses of action. This Plan has been formatted so that it performs, functions and incorporates the concepts and contents associated with both broad long-range and specific short-term strategic goals.
