Plants
Using native plants
in your landscape helps support and enhance local environments and habitat for wildlife, birds and pollinators.
The District has created a comprehensive list of native plants and their characteristics to help residents
properly plant and manage native vegetation in their landscapes.
Invasive plants, if not
managed, have the ability to reduce property value and destroy wildlife habitats. By studying the
plants on this page, residents will be better prepared to quickly identify and respond to out-breaks
as soon as they occur.
Here you can find additional
resources that provide descriptions, pictures and management strategies for both native and invasive plants
in Oregon and the Northwest. The more you know the better you will be at identifying the good plants from the bad plants.
