Each year the Marion SWCD sponsors a K - 5 poster contest that provides an opportunity for students to convey their thoughts about soil, water and related natural resource issues through art. This year is the 10th Annual Poster contest and the theme is "Soil to Spoon" with an emphasis on educating children on where their food comes from and how soil relates to food production. The contest is FREE and open to all K - 5 students in Marion County.
