The Rural Living Handbook provides the district with another tool in its tool kit
for educating the local citizenry on natural resource concerns and possible solutions.
The document is divided into 8 sections: Getting Started, Buying Property, Water,
Property Management, Agriculture, Soil, Forestry, and Getting Involved. Each section is
then divided into chapters that focus on an aspect of the section. The document is 10
mb, so depending on your internet connection you can download the complete document by

acquired from the Marion SWCD office or by visiting the District's booth at local events.
