Pudding Pesticide Stewardship Partnership (PSP)

PesticidesThe Marion Soil and Water Conservation District partners with the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality, OSU Extension Service, Agriculture businesses and other partners to work on identifying and reducing non-point source pollution and to reduce off-target chemical input to local streams.

Stream Flow Program

Water DetailProgram was established in 2008 to gather necessary environmental baseline data to help the county and Pudding watershed comply with the Federal Clean Water Act (CWA) and the Endangered Species Acts (ESA). The program operates in conjunction with the District's Water Quality Program providing daily flow and water temperature on 5 Marion County creeks.

Water Quality

Natural PondIn 2002 an effort was made between Marion County, the Pudding River Watershed Council and the Marion SWCD to conduct a water quality monitoring program in the Pudding River watershed. Read the local reports and see how well one of the local watersheds are doing.
