SUMMARY:Conservation Club: Community Planting Day
DESCRIPTION:Please join Marion SWCD staff in planting our native greenspace at the district office and help us to become certified in our very own Little Habitat Project. Staff will be onsite to demonstrate proper planting techniques and can point out native vs invasive plants on an optional guided plant walk. Planting will take place from 9AM – noon\, followed by lunch (provided). \nDue to the quantity of plants and space available\, attendance is limited to 25 participants. \nWe do ask that participants bring their own gardening gloves as able\, however\, we will have supplies available for those who do not have their own pair. \nIf you have any questions or need special accommodations to participate\, please contact the event coordinators\, Kassi Roosth\, (971)382-2000\, kassi.roosth@marionswcd.net or Sarah Hamilton\, (503)949-6832\, sarah.hamilton@marionswcd.net as early in advance as possible.
