SUMMARY:City of Salem City Nature Challenge
DESCRIPTION:The City Nature Challenge is a four-day worldwide challenge where community members go out and make observations using their cell phone of wild plants and wild animals using the iNaturalist app. These observations go into a large database used by scientists to further their knowledge and research on biodiversity. You can be a citizen scientist by participating in this challenge! Learn more by listening to this radio interview with two of the event planners.\n\nHow to Participate\n\nDownload the iNaturalist app available in the Google Play and Apple app stores. Make an iNaturalist account.\nTake photos of wild plants and animals during the four days of the challenge.
