SUMMARY:Little Habitat Project (LHP) Community Kit Giveaway
DESCRIPTION:Marion Soil and Water Conservation District (Marion SWCD) is offering Little Habitat Project (LHP) Community Kits to help community spaces create pockets of native habitat that support pollinators\, wildlife\, and healthy ecosystems throughout Marion County. \nThrough the LHP Community Kit giveaway\, Marion SWCD is working to expand habitat connections by providing native plants for community sites interested in establishing or enhancing native plant areas. These kits offer an opportunity to add biodiversity\, support local wildlife\, and help connect people and places through conservation. \nWho Can Participate:\nThe Little Habitat Project\, is open to anyone in Marion County. However\, this year’s Community Kits are intended specifically for community sites and shared spaces that can create habitat connections for people and wildlife. Please RSVP if you would like to attend in-person (as space is limited).  Contact at least 24 hours in advance by phone\, 503-391-9927 or the RSVP above. \nHB2560 requires that all Oregon public meetings held by a governing body of a public body\, excluding executive sessions\, must provide to members of the public an opportunity to access and attend the meeting by telephone\, video or other electronic or virtual means. \nOregon residents can file a written grievance with the Marion SWCD regarding a violation of the Public Meetings Law within 30 days of the alleged violation.
