DESCRIPTION:Marion SWCD Board Write-In Opportunity\nInterested in Helping Shape Conservation in Marion County?\nSeveral Marion Soil & Water Conservation District Board positions are open to qualified write-in candidates for the November 3\, 2026 General Election. \nServing on the Marion SWCD Board is an opportunity to bring your perspective and experience to local conservation and help guide the work of your Soil & Water Conservation District. \nOpen positions eligible for Write-In Candidacy: Zones 1\, 2\, 3\, and 5 \n \n______________________________________\nIn a Nutshell: How to Become a Write-In Candidate\nInterested? Here’s the process at a glance: \n1. Find your zone\nUse the SWCD Zone Map to confirm you live in an open zone. \n2. Complete the write-in form\nDownload and complete the Oregon Department of Agriculture’s write-in candidate form. \n3. Submit your form by October 20\nYour completed form must be submitted to the Oregon Department of Agriculture by 5:00 p.m. on October 20\, 2026. \n4. Participate in the November 3 election\nOnce the write-in filing process is complete\, your name will be eligible to receive write-in votes for the position. The candidate receiving the most votes for the position is elected. \n5.
