DESCRIPTION:Marion SWCD Stan Vistica Memorial Scholarship #430\n\nApplications open November 1\, 2026!\n_________________________________________ \nAre you a high school graduate from Marion County — or do you know someone who is — who plans to pursue a career in natural resources? \nThe Marion Soil and Water Conservation District (Marion SWCD) Stan Vistica Memorial Scholarship supports eligible Marion County high school graduates as they continue their education and prepare for careers in natural resources. \nStudents planning to attend an Oregon college or university full-time to pursue a professional certification\, associate degree\, or bachelor’s degree in a natural resources-related field are encouraged to apply. \n~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ \nWho is eligible?\nApplicants must: \n\nBe a resident of Marion County\, Oregon.\nHave graduated from a Marion County high school\, including GED recipients and homeschooled graduates.\nPlan to attend an Oregon school full-time for a professional certification\, associate degree\, or bachelor’s degree.\nStudy a natural resources-related field\, such as agriculture\, animal science\, environmental science\, forestry\, wildlife\, or a related discipline.\nBe a U.S. citizen or eligible noncitizen.\nDemonstrate financial need.\n\nApplication period: November 1\, 2026–March 1\, 2027\nHow to apply: Applications open November 1 through the Oregon Student Aid website.\nVisit oregonstudentaid.gov to learn more and apply. \nKnow someone who might qualify?
