SUMMARY:Nut Growers Society Winter Hazelnut Meeting
DESCRIPTION:The 2026 Nut Growers Society Winter Meeting will be held on January 7 at the Linn County Expo Center in Albany. This is the biggest event of the year in the hazelnut community. Attendees can obtain ODA Pesticide Credits\, and the program will run from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.  In addition to seminars on hazelnut breeding\, fighting Eastern Filbert Blight\, weed management and hazelnut IPM\, the Nut Growers Society will also be presenting their annual Grower of the Year Award. \nMarion Soil and Water Conservation District will be tabling at this event along with our neighboring Soil and Water Conservation Districts (Yamhill\, Benton\, Polk\, Clackamas). Visit our joint booth to discuss the benefits of adding cover crops to your hazelnut orchards\, as well as any other conservation related questions you may have. \nAdditional information for this event can be found at The Nut Growers Society website.
