Geranium oreganum

Oregon geranium is a lovely perennial wildflower native to meadows, open woodlands, and moist slopes of the Pacific Northwest and northern California. It typically grows 1–2 feet tall, with deeply lobed, hairy leaves and clusters of five-petaled festive pink flowers that bloom profusely in summer. The flowers attract a variety of native pollinators, including bees and butterflies, while the plant’s foliage adds texture and seasonal color to meadow and forest understories. Ecologically, Oregon geranium contributes to plant community diversity and plays a role in supporting pollinator networks. It creates a dense groundcover where allowed to seed out.
