Pollinator Connection: Symposium and Festival
October 10 @ 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Join the Marion County Master Gardener Association for Pollinator Connection, a free afternoon celebrating pollinators, plants, and the people who help create thriving habitat. The event features educational presentations, demonstrations, exhibits, a plant sale, and local vendors.
The 12–2 p.m. symposium will feature presentations on plants that provide food for pollinators from fall through spring, as well as ways to enhance habitat, resilience, and beauty in the garden with low-water, low-maintenance plants.
From 2–4 p.m., the festival will offer live demonstrations and exhibits covering seed saving, mason bee cocoon harvesting, host trees, pollinator biology, kids’ activities, and more. A plant sale and vendors will also be available from 12–4 p.m.
Marion SWCD will be tabling at this event! Stop by our table to connect with District staff and learn more about local conservation resources, programs, and ways to support pollinators and habitat.
Free entry. Registration and additional event information are available through the Marion County Master Gardener Association calendar.
