Marion SWCD shares the Spotlight with Polk SWCD and OSU Extension Service Small Farms Program.
Everyone can join the Conservation Club and attend talks, tours, and more. We will offer a variety of learning experiences sprinkled throughout the year to help participants dive deeper on conservation topics. You are welcome to attend as many Conservation Club events as interest you. Not only is Conservation Club free – it’s a great way to meet neighbors with similar interests and get inspired to try out new practices.
We offer a searchable/filterable plant database featuring native, invasive, and graminoid species of significance to the mid-Willamette Valley. We also feature a conservation directory with providers of conservation supplies and services for our region.
Mid-Willamette Outreach Group (MWOG) collaboratively delivers fun and educational opportunities to engage in water exploration and protection. MWOG members are City of Keizer, City of Salem, Marion County, and Marion SWCD.
