Join Marion SWCD for a tour of oak woodlands and prairie habitats being actively managed in the mid-Willamette Valley. We’ll visit three sites: the Gaia oak wetland/woodland conservation lot managed by the City of Salem, an MSWCD grant recipient’s private oak restoration project in Mt Angel, and Champoeg State Park. Presenters include City of Salem staff, Kurt Berning, Institute for Applied Ecology, and Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde.
