Lupinus rivularis
Sprawling perennial lupine with short stalks of striking purple flowers that bloom spring to summer. Good for rain gardens, butterfly gardens and meadows, it attracts a variety of pollinators and hummingbirds. Like other pea-family plants, lupines help to fix atmospheric nitrogen.
CAUTION: All lupines are toxic to livestock and domestic animals.
