Salem’s Drinking Water – Source to Sink

Please join Nenette Sequeira, Water Education Instructor with the City of Salem, for an engaging look at Salem’s drinking water system — past and present. This presentation will explore the history of Salem’s drinking water, where our water originates, how water becomes polluted, and the treatment processes used to ensure clean, safe water reaches homes and businesses throughout the community.

From watershed to faucet, attendees will gain a better understanding of the journey water takes before it reaches our taps and the important role water treatment and stewardship play in protecting this essential resource.
