Come see Chinook salmon spawning in the North Santiam River and chat with experts about it. Join us for an experience of a lifetime!

We’ll have educators on hand to explain what the salmon are doing and discuss key characteristics of their natural environment. This is a free, move-at-your-own-pace event. Instructors will introduce you to salmon life history, water quality, aquatic macroinvertebrates, the importance of a riparian vegetation and ways to make positive impacts.

Parking is limited at this park – please carpool if possible.

If you need special accommodations to participate, please contact the event coordinators, Kassi Roosth, (971)382-2000, kassi.roosth@marionswcd.net or Amy Zimmer, (503)949-4709, amy.zimmer@marionswcd.net as early in advance as possible.

RSVP not necessary, but then you will receive reminders and updates.  Thanks and see you there!
