The Mid-Willamette Cooperative Weed Management Area would like to invite you to our Annual Tour!
This year, Willamette Riverkeeper will lead us on an adventure along the river to learn about aquatic weeds. We will start on the west side of the Willamette visiting the Gail Achterman Wildlife Area where we will learn from folks at ODFW. From there, we will carpool to Willamette and Oxbow sloughs to learn about invasive water primrose (lludwigia spp.) and restoration efforts at Minto Brown Island Park where we will also eat lunch. In the afternoon we will head to Wheatland Ferry to learn about garden yellow loosestrife (Lysimachia vulgaris), the A-listed weed threatening this part of the Willamette, from our partners at Yamhill SWCD.
