Please join Kurt Berning and MacKayla Fithian, Executive Director and Restoration Project Manager at the Pudding River Watershed Council as they discuss results from the 2023/2024 salmon survey season. In this talk they will discuss how many salmon are spawning in Silver Creek, Butte Creek, Abiqua Creek, and other parts of the Pudding River Watershed.

Kurt grew up in Mt. Angel and worked in finance and accounting prior to joining Pudding River WC as the Executive Director. His vision for the Pudding River Watershed Council includes growth to 5+ staff members and managing an exciting portfolio of projects within the watershed. While MacKayla currently resides in Silverton, she fell in love with the Pudding River watershed by volunteering at Silver Falls State Park. After earning a Master’s in Natural Resources from Oregon State University and working at the US Department of Agriculture (USDA),  MacKayla joined the Pudding River WC team as Restoration Project Manager.
