Join Marion Soil and Water Conservation District for a practical, farmer-focused workshop exploring how streamside (riparian) restoration can work with your operation — not against it. This event is designed for farmers and landowners near streams who are interested in supporting the long-term productivity of their land while improving water quality and enhancing habitat.

A guest speaker will share examples of what restoration can look like in an agricultural setting, offering insights on balancing conservation with working lands. Marion SWCD staff will also share recent water quality findings from the Strategic Implementation Area (SIA) to provide local context – especially for those near Howell Prairie Creek.
