Giant White Wake-Robin

Trillium albidum

Plant Description

This low growing perennial is one of the largest trilliums. It has three mottled green leaves that grow in a triangular formation with a three-petalled white flower arising without a stalk from the center. A long-lived plant. Called wake-robin because they sometimes bloom in very early spring as the robins begin to build nests.
