Nelson’s Checkermallow

Sidalcea nelsoniana

Plant Description

A tall perennial checkermallow with white to pink flowers and spike-like racemes. Blooms May-September. Basal leaves are round and palmately lobed, the lobes toothed; upper leaves are increasingly deeply cleft. This plant was removed from the Federal List of Endangered and Threatened Plants in 2022.
