Control Prevention is best - do not plant Norway maple. Seedlings can be hand-pulled. Trees can be cut to the ground and regrowth cut again as needed.
Reproduction and Spread Produce many seeds that take root in gardens, forests, and forest edges.
Introduced Introduced from Europe in 1756 as an ornamental.
