Crataegus x suksdorfii
Suksdorf’s hawthorn is an attractive deciduous tree found in wetlands, disturbed areas, and forests. The white flowers attract pollinators while the tiny apply-like berries support birds and mammals. It’s a host plant for dozens of butterfly and moth species! The dense roots also hold soil and prevent erosion.
