Are you a high school graduate from Marion County — or do you know someone who is — who plans to pursue a career in natural resources?

The Marion Soil and Water Conservation District (Marion SWCD) Stan Vistica Memorial Scholarship supports eligible Marion County high school graduates as they continue their education and prepare for careers in natural resources.

Students planning to attend an Oregon college or university full-time to pursue a professional certification, associate degree, or bachelor’s degree in a natural resources-related field are encouraged to apply.

Who is eligible?

Applicants must:

• Be a resident of Marion County, Oregon.
• Have graduated from a Marion County high school, including GED recipients and homeschooled graduates.
• Plan to attend an Oregon school full-time for a professional certification, associate degree, or bachelor’s degree.
• Study a natural resources-related field, such as agriculture, animal science, environmental science, forestry, wildlife, or a related discipline.
• Be a U.S. citizen or eligible noncitizen.
• Demonstrate financial need.

Application period: November 1, 2026–March 1, 2027
