Plant Description

Perennial groundcover that produces tubular purple flowers on erect stalks. Our native self-heal is taller and has longer leaves than the nonnative. It grows best in shade or part shade, but can handle sun as long as it doesn’t dry out. Purple flower heads attract bees and butterflies. Has medicinal properties.
