Fringecup

Tellima grandiflora

Plant Description

This perennial understory plant has attractive, fuzzy, heart shaped leaves and low stalks of greenish white flowers that become pink with age. Flowers are small but intricate and bloom from mid spring to mid summer. Fringecup will readily seed out, creating a smattering of these dainty plants in a shady corner of the yard. It is evergreen in mild winters and easy to grow.
