Fritillaria atropurpurea
Erect perennial that grows from a bulb, with bell-shaped creamy yellow flowers and purple-brown spots. 1″ long blooms appear in late spring to mid summer. Bulbs are a traditional food of many Northwest tribal people, and are a favorite of squirrels.
